The paper must have an Introduction and Conclusion:
Introduction
In the introduction state the main argument/s you will make in the paper.
Include a ‘road map’ of the paper, that is, tell the reader the steps you will take in the paper. For example, I will first do…next, I will do…etc.
Conclusion
The conclusion should state the main points you derived from your analysis and not be a summary of the entire paper. Present your own thoughts but make sure they are specific (not generalities), relevant, meaningful, and based on evidence.
You must do a spell check AND a grammar check before you submit the essay. You will lose points if I find that basic words are misspelled, or grammar rules have been ignored. You will also lose points if you misspell names of authors or refer to them by their first name only. You may only use their last names.
Format:
The paper must be a minimum of 8 pages.
All pages must be numbered.
You must have a title page with your name and a title for the paper. This is NOT page 1 of your paper.
Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
Margins have to be only 1” on all sides.
No line separation between paragraphs.
