Scenario: The local electric utility company has recently conducted an assessment, which identified that 25% of the workforce will be eligible to retire in the next 5-10 years, these workers include front line staff and many department managers/supervisors. The Talent Management Department has been tasked to provide the HR VP information on succession management.
Deliverable:
Identify the value of having succession management and impact it would have towards the issue of 25% of the workforce retiring in the next 5-10 years.
Provide at least 3 recommendations that the organization can incorporate into a succession management plan or program.
These papers should be 2-3 pages and written in APA format. A Title Page and Reference Page should be included and does not count towards the 2-3-page requirement.
