Cognitive development in middle childhood

One of the videos you watched was a TEDtalk by Sir Ken Robinson called How Schools Kill Creativity. Sir Robinson discusses some of the limitations of our educational systems on the creative minds of children. In your chapter, you read about several theories on cognitive development and on how schools tend to look at and evaluate intelligence or cognitive development.

For this assignment, you will take the role of a writer for a professional journal Child Development Monthly and write an analytical review of this TEDtalk. In this review, use information you learned from your readings, other videos, the lectures, or credible outside sources that support or refute what Sir Robinson says about our educational system.

This review should be no less than 350 words and include the sources you use to support or refute the information presented in the video. You will need to create a headline for this article and add a picture, meme, or graphical element that goes along with your article. You may also include your personal view of the content of the video, but you must clearly indicate when something is your own view and when you are citing credible sources.

The sources you used to either support or refute the TEDtalk.
And this post must be written in the voice of a professional reviewer. (Think about movie reviews you have read and go from there. But remember that this is an analytical review, so it must be supported with what you learned this week or last week.)
