As an international health policy analyst working for international
health organization such as United Nations (U.N) World Health
Organization (WHO), United States Agency for International
Development (USAID). You’re been asked by your top regional health
administrator to select a country from the third world nations and
explain its national health system.
Your tasks in this assignment are to:
1. Discuss how the health system addresses three health issues
in the country. One issue should target a child health issue,
one should address an environmental issue that is impacting
health, and one issue impacting the country’s older adult
populations should be selected.
2. What social issues affect the implementation of acceptable
public health interventions? (NOTE: You should consider at
least two possible interventions from those interventions that
you learned about in this course).
3. Determine what the barriers are for the achievement of these
objectives, and suggest measures through which these
barriers could be taken down.
4. Describe how you would use effective leadership to overcome
the barriers that you considered.
