• Executive Summary at the beginning of paper with the key summary of the case
(minimum one page), use subheadings – familiarize yourself by reading the
supplied example, or research on the Internet to what exactly an Executive
Summary consists of! You must use the given sub-headings – required!
• Introduction of US-based multinational corporation, current and future only: no
history required
• In-depth analysis of key issues with particular attention to the global
expansion and challenges of the chosen corporation. (most important section
of case analysis)
• Please use separate headings: Global Expansion and a heading for: Associated
Challenges
• Full SWOT analysis: S&W=internal forces, O&T=external forces
• Competitor analysis, minimum of three – each competitor must have its own
heading
• Industry analysis – short history, future trends
• Three derived recommendations (short and long term– three each) for actions on
the part of the corporation to improve overall performance and increase market

share, etc., tied to the analysis presented; each recommendation needs a
subheading.
• Conclusion, forward looking info, not repeated facts from the paper
• Exhibits, statistics, etc. – on separate pages: required

1. Only research and write about the listed topics – meaning all required sections should concentrate
on the listed topic: including the global expansion, challenges, competitors, industry and
recommendations. When selecting a foreign corporation (second case study) – you also must
choose one single product from that corporation and list it on the title page below the chosen
company. MANDATORY
Example: Samsung Corporation produces many known core products: from
semiconductors to flat screen TV's, to refrigerators, to mobile phones, to building ships,
to selling life insurance, to owning a theme park. You must research only one product –
and then explore alike competitors, only research that specific industry, and explore
recommendations geared towards that particular selected core product.
