Individual Assignment (5%)

Objective/ Overview: This assignment helps you gain a managerial perspective on B2B firms that target
business and government customers. You will also apply class contents and analyze new B2B marketing
practices.

Report format
The report should be single-spaced in 12-point font and should not exceed 4 pages as explained below:
 Cover page: it should contain the student’s name and the company name and logo
 Company Profile 2 pages of text following the structure detailed below (report sections) 4 points
 Appendix page in which you can add pictures of the company's products or services, illustrations
from the company’s social media accounts, etc. 1 point
Deadline
The individual B2B corporate profile report is due in electronic form (via Blackboard) no later than 4
October 2020.

Report sections
For the selected company, you should write a report of maximum two pages that includes the below three
sections + one page appendix.

1. The Company’s Profile:
In this section, you may refer to the website of the chosen company and other resources to identify and
briefly describe the different type of B2B products and/or services provided by the chosen company.

2. Business Relationship:
Based on the different types of relationships that are possible between buyer and seller (in Chapter 2),
identify at least one B2B customer of the chosen company and evaluate the relationship between the
company and this customer. If you choose a B2G company, you should specify what department or
agency of the government is the customer and evaluate the relationship between the chosen company and
this department/agency.

3. The Company’s competitive advantage:
In this section, you are requested to analyze the tactics and propositions of the chosen company that aim
to provide its customers with greater value, and that help the company to hold a competitive advantage in
the business market.
You are also requested to explain the differences between the marketing practices of the selected
company and those often adopted by B2C companies.

Appendix (one page)
List of the resources, pictures, illustrations, tables, etc., that can better illustrate the company’s business
and activity.
