“Good evening classmates and professor!

Out of the nine rules listed in the e-text I feel as though rule #4: Have a personality is the most important rule to follow. A brands personality is a framework that helps a company or organization shape the way individuals feel about its product, service, or mission. A company’s brand personality brings forth an emotional response from their targeted audiences. Consumers are more likely to purchase a product or indulge in services when they can relate to them. Dove, for example, chooses sincerity as its brands personality, to attract feminine consumers. Whereas Gucci and Chanel aims for a more sophisticated brand personality that focuses on upper-class, glamorous, and trendy lifestyles. I feel as though it is important to focus on a brands personality because it helps to establish relationships between consumers and their brand of choice. Creating such relationships will also increase a brands equity overtime.”

“Hello Professor and classmates,

I chose rule #4, Have a Personality, as the most important.

This is because, in my opinion, it’s the first aspect you need to have for your social media marketing if you want people to connect with you. It will call their attention. When people want to grow on social media, people just start to share many unrelated things and they mix everything up and people get lost, or they keep their content strictly professional. If you keep posting or sharing your content based on your personality and beliefs, it can bring a sense of you being a real person with something new to show to everyone.

After people start trusting you, you can take care of other rules, like Be Nice, for example. Your followers or fans will stay with you on your channels if you respect them and follow the other eight rules available to you. But everything begins with the right approach and trust. ”
Sharing some personality helps build common ground and trust”, (Barker et al., 2017). Being authentic is the best way to proceed.
