Structure of the assignment

2. Introduction & Background
Briefly describe the theoretical background and introduce which institutions or
companies have been selected by the Group and which techniques or practices
have been identified in the cases selected.
3. Case Studies: description
Present and discuss in detail case studies you have searched to be able to answer
the topic’s question. Highlight specific solutions found to solve competition o
organisational problems, bearing in mind that the focus has to be on the
management of human resources (strategic or not). You can either analyse only
one case in depth or, preferably, two or more cases, where you can compare
different approaches. Make sure that in the research and analysis there is a clear
distinction of each individual contribution.
4. Conclusions
Draw conclusions, through group discussion, from the case studies you have
presented throughout the project. Try to understand the HR strategic positioning of
the company or institution, whether it looks for flexibility or applies a universalistic, fit
or resource based approach. Define how effective are the practices you have
described and how their activity impacts the future and the image of the company
and people motivation internally.
