AIM
Enable student to analyze US foreign and defense policies, and the US perception of its role in the world.
SCOPE
1.) Describe the organization, mandates, interests, and responsibilities of those actors which, collectively, make real the official US presence on the world stage.
2.) Reveal the different conceptual lenses employed by policymakers and analysts alike as to the political character of the United States and its people and how this character is expressed through policy.
This persuasive essay will focus the student to applying these concepts and frameworks found in the required readings to the analysis of a written work.
