Do you think supermarkets have positive or negative working capital? Why?

Find the 2018 Annual Report for Sainsbury’s and for Morrisons.
Task 4
Use Excel from now. What is the current ratio and working capital for Sainsbury’s and Morrisons?
Do not include cash. Based on this, which supermarket has better working capital model?
Task 5
Find the market capitalizations of the two supermarkets. Calculate their total enterprise values.
(The total enterprise value is roughly the market capitalization plus long term liabilities.)
Task 6
What is the total enterprise value per GBP of sales for each supermarket? Per GBP of gross profit?
BONUS
Sainsbury’s also has a banking arm. Is it a large portion? Try to remove the Sainsbury banking arm
from all numbers and redo the tasks. Also, run the numbers for Ocado.
