Instructions: A (600-630) word formal essay with an introduction and conclusion and three body paragraphs. The introduction should feature a clearly identifiable thesis statement and the body paragraphs should each have clearly identifiable topic sentences. A structure of 100 words for each of the introduction and conclusion and 150 words for each body paragraph is recommended. This short essay should be based in close textual analysis of the reading. This is an argumentative essay so this should be described more than is necessary to motivate your argument. Also, being an argumentative essay, your thesis statement should make a strong claim and explicit argument.
