Write and submit capstone in APA style (between 8 – 10 pages, does
not include title page, references, charts, tables, graphs or
appendices). Page 1 of your capstone is an executive summary and
your recommendations to the organization’s CEO. Include your
SWOT analysis and any charts, graphs, or tables in the appendices.
Although your final Capstone paper should be submitted no later than
Sunday at 11:59 pm (module 8), early submission is welcome for
feedback from your professor.
Capstone (Written)
Drawing on lessons learned within the management program and
signature assignments, select an organization that has been in
business for at least 5 years, and analyze it on behalf of the
organization’s managers, and provides enough visibility to reinforce
lessons learned in previous BA in MGT courses, e.g., financials,
demonstrated marketing strategies, etc.
Synthesis of the SWOT analysis and personal research will be used to
write an 8 – 10 page paper. The title (cover page) and reference page,
and appendices are not included in the total page count. All tables,
charts or graphs will be in appendices at the end of the paper. The
paper will be written in in APA format. Please see the section
“Learning Resources” for links providing guidance on how to use
APA format. Your paper should consist of a minimum of 5 and no
more than 10 references (at least 4 references must be from an
academic database).
Recommendations: These are added to assist you in building your
Capstone in a timely manner, and are not graded. However, the
timeline recommended will help to construct an exceptional Capstone,
and may assist with your Capstone outline and draft (both of which
are graded). Do not hesitate to ask questions regarding the
recommendations.
