Just 36 years ago in Luxemburg, the Schengen Agreement was signed on June 14 to end the use of national borders for travel within the Schengen Area.[1] At the time the European Union (EU) was compromised of five countries: France, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Netherland.[1] This Treaty was the fundamental start of approving free movement in Europe for and integrated continent. The member countries of the EU survivor on Single Market trade, therefore maintaining a border less countries enable a productive trade method through free travel.[1] To restore European nations the unrestricted flow of diverse merchandise and intellect has facilitated boundless freedom on an internal Continental scale as the EU has grown its membership. With the Schengen Treaty aligning with the aspirations of the EU the competitive nature of a free market allows for low-cost production, intellectual advancements, competitive pay, and limited government oversight.[1] Yet, the governments instituted the Schengen Information System (SIS) to share data regarding visa and asylum applications, and goods in transitions between countries.[1] The Schengen Agreement was a catalyst for economic stability that sustains the Euro,  in Europe after multiple World Wars in the continent.
