. Greenpeace’s overall mission is to “expose global environmental problems and
promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future”. Greenpeace
began in 1971 in Canada and British Columbia in efforts to protest U.S. nuclear
testing in Alaska. They gained publicity and exposure all over the world by being
one of the first groups that were bold enough to stand up against governments and
large corporations by calling them out for unethical environmental practices.

A. The motivation behind this research paper will be to discover how effective
Greenpeace is in achieving their mission over specific issues in different
continents.

A. Each paragraph/section will cover a different continent and will discuss
Greenpeace’s most prevalent goal’s. I will elaborate on what exactly their specific
mission is in each continent and research what specific actions they are engaging
in for each location. Then, I will analyze their effectiveness on the specific issue

covers what else Greenpeace can work on because of their past effectiveness, but
I want to dive deeper into if they can be more effective in what they are doing
