2) Once the Dean has reviewed your appeal, you will be notifed via email of the fnal decision.
3) If you have questions about the appeal decision you may speak with your Campus Dean’s Ofce for additional information.
4) An approved appeal is valid for six (6) months. Students who do not return within six (6) months of an approved appeal will
need to re-appeal.
5) A denied appeal is considered fnal and binding. You may not re-appeal unless new information is presented for consideration.

I would like to start by saying that I am a very diligent student and education is extremely important t
o me. I understand the seriousness of studying and the fact that I have to devote a lot of time to prep
are for classes if I want to be successful. Unfortunately, I was not able to concentrate on my studies t
his year, because just during the last course a person close to me, who was a member of my family,
died of cancer. It is very difficult for me to talk about what happened because it was a very painful ex
perience for me. Due to the fact that everything piled up sharply, I lost focus on learning and began t
o lag behind in some subjects. I can prove my words and provide the necessary documentation from
MD Anderson in the Houston TX medical district. I want to emphasize once again that I understand t
he importance of education and therefore I ask you to give me another chance.

I have coped with the psychological problems that bothered me in my last year and am ready to
focus on my studies again. It took me a while to get over the loss, and now I understand that I need
to continue to live on. I am going to devote at least 4 hours of study every day. I will read additional
literature on subjects, which I will devote about an hour and a half a day. I will devote another hour
and a half to my homework and about an hour to review and consolidate what I have learned.
Moreover, I am thinking about devoting more time to practice; for this, I am thinking of trying an
internship at one of the local companies. I am going to use scientific journals, textbooks, and other
scientific publications for studying. I want to get a second chance to prove that I can be successful
in my studies and in my future career.
I have a range of career goals that I am going to achieve if given a chance to return to my studies.
First of all, I want to get work experience in one of the big companies, which I can do after
graduation. I would like to learn from the experience of influential businesspersons. Additionally, I
am going to start my own business when I have enough management experience. My main career
goal is to open a business that will be useful not only for me as an owner but will also benefit
