The discussion does not discuss the results of different NOGO reaction times and what this implies while referring back to theories presented in the introduction (the theories are supposed to be presented in the introduction to support the hypothesis of the study)

This assignment needs to be based on an argument for what is being tested and its importance in furthering the understanding of sustained attention in terms of cognitive failures and the task design used in the statistical analysis. Limitations can’t be based on sampling issues but rather on design of experiment.
The hypothesis need to be reworded and put at the end of the introduction.
The discussion needs to stipulate if the hypothesis are supported by the data… what the data shows and then this needs to be tied in with the references/argument (made to support the hypothesis in intro) from the introduction…. Don’t restate results interpret them which needs to be inline with the argument and references made in the introduction.
Referencing is very important. when referring to a paper only use the word ‘found’ if it was the findings of the paper you are talking about, if it is a theory proposed in the introduction or discussion section of the research paper in question (not the findings found supported by the data) use the word the author ‘argues’ If it is a secondary citation it needs to be cited as such.
The Petranker and Eastwood required reference should be utilized for ideas when completing the future directions for research section….
It is very important to discuss limitations and implications of the study being written and future directions for research.
The research report should tell a clear and concise story based on the hypothesis and data
The intro duction should be clear and concise, do not confuse your argument with presenting on many different ideas/aspects from to many sources
The introduction should be shorter than discussion
In the discussion make sure to state the relationships found, then interpret these- how do they relate to the hypothesis.
