Since I am interested in the foundations of Islamic religion, I am going to work on the project
that will be dedicated to mysticism in Islam. The broad topic of my research will be concerned
with the onset of mystical forms of Islam.
b)The narrower focus of my project will be related to the contributions of Jalal al-Din Rumi in
the creation of mystical forms of Islam. When it comes to the question that my project aims to
address, I am utterly convinced that my work can serve as an essential source of information that
will contribute to better understanding of the role of Jalal al-Din Rumi in the formation of Sufism
in Islam. Thus, the key question is: “What is the role of Jalal al-Din Rumi in the formation of
Sufism in Islam?”
