FALLS PREVENTION IN REHABILITATION UNIT maximum 2300-2400 words

For assessment, you will create a plan or outline for your presentation that follows an educational training framework to include:

1. Introduce your innovative idea. (100 words)
2. Explain how your idea is an innovation for your specialty area. Ensure that you include a model of change Lewin’s change model. (300 words)

3. Articulate the adult learning principles you will utilise and justify why you will use these principles in your innovation plan. Consider the nursing audience and the training aspects. (400 words)

4. Develop measurable and achievable learning outcomes and objectives (450 words):
5. Develop five achievable and measurable learning objectives that target your audience. (150 words)

1. Develop three learning outcomes and argue how you will meet each of the three measurable learning outcomes. (300 words)

5. Conduct a needs analysis to identify the current state, the need for improvement and the target group/s that this affects as well as the importance of the need and how the change will be communicated. (200 words)

Marking criteria

You will be assessed on the following marking criteria:

• ·  C3. Articulation and justification of adult learning principles is relevant to the nursing audience.
• ·  C4. Development of 5 learning objectives that are achievable and measurable. (10 marks)
• ·  C5. Argument detailing how you will meet each of the three measurable learning outcomes.
• ·  C6. Identification of the current state, the need for improvement and the target group/s that this affects as well as the importance of the need and how the change will be communicated.
• ·  C7. Identification and justification of training tools and resources is reasonable and takes into consideration financial costs.
• ·  C8. Explication of how training will be evaluated including when and why it will need to run again in the future.
• ·  C9. Explication of relevance of how training will benefit area of specialty in relation to either: an individual, a patient cohort, a group, organisation or wider society.
  · C10. Correct use of APA style referencing and inclusion of a reference list.
