Parent and Child interaction: Same-sex families /AN
Instructions
1. Choose a topic that relates to anything involving parent and children’s interactions and relationships. Some topic ideas you could use are but also feel free to choose your own topic:
Same-Sex families
Parenting children with emotional or psychological issues
Other types of families?
2. Research a minimum of 5 articles or more for your topic
3. Answer the following questions that relate to your topic:
a. Provide a summary of the articles selected
b. List the various issues that are apparent in regards to parent and child interactions and how it impacts the relationship
c. Provide some long-term worse-case scenarios that might impact the child and/or parent if issues continue to persist.
d. Share possible solutions that could help resolve the issues involving parent-child interactions. Be sure to cite work and findings from articles
e. What are your personal feelings about the topic you have chosen?
f. How does this topic impact you in terms of your own family?
Be sure your article is in APA format. Ask yourself these questions:
Do I have a cover page? Is everything centered?
Does the Running head appear on the top left corner?
Are page numbers asserted on the top right corner
Are the subheaders in place?
Have I cited my work?
Are all my references on one page?
Be sure that your paper is free of grammatical errors.
Your presentation should be in PowerPoint and must share with the class to view
Your presentation should be 5-7 minutes long
