ISBN 9780073385525 Test 1 Short Answers and Essay Questions The second part of test 1 is short answers and Essay Question. The goals of these questions is to assess your understanding of the material and how you synthesize the course ideas. These questions are designed for you to answer with an argument that has to be backed up with facts. The goal of this is to demonstrate that you understand how to construct an argument. There are four (4) short answer questions, you are to choose two (2) of these. There are three (3) essay questions and you are to choose one (1). The short answer will be worth 12.5 points each and the essay is worth 25 points. Why did England allow these three divisions to emerge? 2. Who was being more unreasonable running into the American Revolution: England or the United States? To answer this, you need to discuss what the other side was doing and why your side was being more reasonable here. Could there have been a peaceful resolution before fighting happened? 3. What are the biggest differences between the Founding Fathers’ Early Republic period and the Jeffersonian Era? When did politics and political parties emerge and why? Which period had the most impaagnct on the United States?
