Interview Someone Personal Financial Decisions
This assignment measures CLO2: “Develop critical thinking skills with respect to financial planning concepts”.
This assignment is a practical exercise for the students to conduct and practice a real scenario of financial planning. By conducting this interview, a student should act as a “financial planner” who will be recommending some suggestions to the interviewee. A student should be able to analyse the information revealed by the interviewee and draw different types of recommendations and suggestions.
This assignment is design to enhance students’ communications skills.
Financial planning is about expectations, and the interview is the only way to get these expectations and draw specific recommendations for the interviewee.
The main objectives of the assignment
Analyse the process for making personal financial decisions.
Assess personal and economic factors that influence personal financial planning.
Evaluate the different approaches of Developing personal financial goals.
Identify strategies for achieving personal financial goals for different life situations.
Requirements
Conduct the interview and write down the answers of the interviewees.
For each answer, you need to write a short quotation, 2-3 sentences mentioned by the interviewee.
write a summary of the interview as a short essay, including a few interesting and focused quotations.
