Define: Reinforcement as a purpose is a consequence to strength a behavior it may follow to
increase or decrease a repeated behavior. Punishment is known as a negative reinforcement, but
punishment is decreasing or suppressing a behavior.
Compare: Reinforcement and Punishment both have a behavior
Contrast: Reinforcement increases in behaviors, while punishment decreases or suppressing
behavior.

2. Define, compare, and contrast classical and operational conditioning. Create and
describe a real life example of each of these two approaches being used in an
educational environment. Suggest how your example shows the difference between the
two approaches. Pages 254 255 256

Define: Classical conditioning is more of an emotional or psychology to fear. Operant Condition reflects
the environment.
Compare: Classical and operant conditioning both are controlled behavior.
