Reflection Paper on Public Health
Write a reflection paper based on what you learned about the Public Health topic of your interest during your literature review. You can very well use your first paper, and change the perspective from author’s third person to first person. It is completely acceptable to just re-write your first paper, reflecting on your findings, adding your opinion, etc. You are not starting anything from scratch! If you did not do so on your first paper, do not forget to use the titles below.

This paper should use APA formatting, Times New Roman font size 12, double-spaced with a minimum of 5, and a maximum of 10 pages (this page count excludes title and references). Upload your document to Blackboard using the link provided. Paper must be uploaded as a Microsoft Word Document. If it is not uploaded to Blackboard or it is not in uploaded as a Microsoft Word Document, the assignment will not be accepted.

It should contain a title, introduction, discussion/conclusion, and references. Please use no less than 10 references, you may use the same references as in your literature review.

Describe the public health issue that you researched during your literature review. Use articles or pieces of information you found to justify and reference your statements. Try to answer the following questions:

What did you find most problematic about the public health issue?
Is there a possible solution to the public health issue? What recommendations can help solve the public health issue?
Should more people in your community care about the issue and why?
Overall how do you feel about what you have learned about the topic of public health?

THE REFLECTION PAPER THAT I NEED WRITTEN SHOULD HAVE BEEN A REVISION OF THE LITERATURE REVIEW, HOWEVER I DID NOT COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT. THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE LITERATURE REVIEW WERE AS FOLLOWS:

Paper I. Literature Review of Selected Public Health Issue
Complete a short literature review associated with one of the following topics: Drug Addiction and Teens, Teen Vaping or Teen Access to Mental Health Services.

There are endless possibilities in regards to research questions and the previous topics.

Based on your findings:

Summarize who the problem affects most, key risk factors and association with social determinants of health.
Describe how the selected public health issue affects people´s health and socio-economic development, and what can be done to address the issue?
The paper should be written using APA formatting, Times New Roman font size 12, double-spaced with a minimum of 8 pages (this page count excludes title and references) but not more than 10. It should contain a title, abstract, introduction, discussion, conclusion, and references. It is recommended that you use no less than 10 different references prioritizing peer reviewed journals and organization documents. Plain websites and channels are not appropriate references (i.e. CNN.com, Wikipedia).

Writing about public health issues expands on topics discussed in class and aids in the development of essential research skills necessary in today´s society.
