I have already finished my presentation through the powerpoint (grade A-) and finished the group paper(Grade B+ or above), and here is my individual report. The attached document is the marking scheme and the presented material before. Guidelines on individual written report Contents of individual report: A very brief outline (an abstract) of your final year project should firstly be provided. The individual report should focus on the discussion, limitations of the study, suggestions for future research, and reflection of learning in the research process. The discussion section is the core of a research report. The writing reflects the researcher’s interpretation of the results in term of the purpose of study. The discussion normally begins with a statement of the major findings of the study. It is not a reiteration of the results section because it has been presented in the seminar, but students should focus on explanations of the observed outcomes and how the results related to those of similar studies. Explanations on how the results support or refute previous researches or theories should also be provided. Every research is an endeavour; explain the meaning of the findings and why the findings are important in the discussion section. Word limit: The individual report should be 2500 words, excluding figures, tables and reference list.
